CCTA offers high quality after school drama programs that encourage students to take risks, grow their imagination, and embrace their creativity! CCTA’s after school classes are educational programs that strive to create a non-competitive environment in which children can learn and grow. Our staff strives to ensure that the learning process, friendships and experience that occur within our programs are nurtured and explored.

All CCTA staff instructors are either state certified educators, hold a theatrical degree or are working theatrical artists!

CCTA offers several programs designed to meet the needs of your school community:

Students work with a professional director and musical director to perform a full musical production including professional costumes, scenery and live musicians. Ten one-hour sessions.

Students work with a professional musical director and drama educator to write their own original work based on a developmental asset important to your school. This ten-week program culminates in a peformance of students’ original work.

Students learn the fundamentals of acting and begin to build a theatrical vocabulary in a small group setting. Ten one-hour sessions.

Students work with a professional improv director and performer to create their own improvisational theater piece. Focus is on strategy, form and vocabulary related to this theatrical form. Ten one-hour sessions.
